After a rather shite morning at a real estate agent, which saw me have a momentary lapse of dignity - there were tears, there was blubbering, there still is mascara in places on on my face other than where it should be - I was desperately seeking a cafe close by where I could console myself in a coffee.
I first stumbled across Hurwundiki about a year ago after a visit to The Last Tuesday Society & Viktor Wynd's Little Shop of Horrors, which is also on Cambridge Heath Road. I was mesmerised by this cafe come hair salon, come vintage shop, come "ghost town" playground.
